Currently, the thinnest tiles available in the Ceramiche Keope range have a thickness of 6 millimetres and come in the dimensions of 120x278cm.
Thin tiles are appreciated for various reasons. First of all, their reduced thickness makes them lighter and easier to handle during installation. Additionally, these tiles can be applied directly on existing surfaces, eliminating the need for complete removal of previous materials, which proves beneficial in renovation scenarios. Follow these steps to clean resin-effect porcelain stoneware:

Remove dust and dirt: Use a soft bristle broom or vacuum cleaner with a soft padding to remove dust and dirt from the floor surface.

Prepare a cleaning solution: Mix lukewarm water with a neutral cleaner formulated specifically for ceramic or porcelain floors in a bucket. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions on the correct dilution ratios.

Clean the floor: Clean the floor using a mop or microfibre cloth dampened with the detergent solution. Make sure to wring out the mop or cloth adequately so that it is not too wet. Do not use harsh or abrasive chemical products that can damage the glossy finish.

Remove stains: For stubborn stains or encrustations, use a sponge or soft cloth soaked in a stain-removing solution or cleaning solution specifically for marble. Follow the product instructions and gently rub the stain until it is removed.

Rinse: After cleaning, thoroughly rinse the floor using clean water to remove any detergent residue. Make sure to dry the floor thoroughly to prevent the formation of halos or stains.

Perform regular maintenance: To keep your glossy porcelain stoneware floor looking good, clean it regularly with clean water and a mild detergent. Do not use hard brushes or harsh chemical products that may scratch or dull the surface.

No, joints are always necessary. However, depending on the type of tile or rather the kind of tile edge, the joint can be narrower (2 mm) or wider (up to 5 mm). The laying of tiles generally varies according to the characteristics of the collection itself. It is important to ensure seamless blending of the tiles to keep the grout joints as narrow as possible. If the tiles are rectified (with perfectly bevelled edges), they can be laid with a narrow joint (2 mm) to obtain a refined and elegant effect. The final result is particularly striking and is generally recommended for modern and technologically advanced products, such as large sizes. In the case of more traditional or rustic tiles with non-rectified edges after firing, it is advisable to opt for a slightly wider joint of about 4 or 5 mm to obtain a final effect that aligns with the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the tile. It's worth noting that the narrower the grout joint, the more rigid the tile. In some cases, structural shifts in screeds and floor slabs could lead to tile breakage or deformation.
